Convention Cosplay Photoshoots
Oct 5, 2026 · @Anthony
The crunch is done, the armor is weathered and the props somehow survived the trip. Now let's get it in front of a camera.
My convention cosplay photoshoot is $75. You choose a 2 hour timeslot for flexibility, and the actual shoot can be up to an hour, which allows for location changes. It's built for cosplayers who want a few polished, portfolio-worthy images rather than a series of repetitive or barely edited images.

Before the shoot
Your booking form asks the background questions up front, so our pre-shoot consult can go straight to planning. We'll talk through your character and the mood you want, plus any poses or scenes you'd like to recreate.
For reference images, email them to me, share a Pinterest board, or ask me for a link to a moodboard you can add them to.
We'll also choose spots around the venue that suit your character. A location change is included, and if crowds or weather get in the way, don't worry. There's always somewhere else at the venue we can shoot.
Last, we'll set a time around your panels and meetups, ideally soon after you've suited up. If any part of your costume is fragile or hard to move in, tell me then so I can plan around it.
Safety and comfort
We can take a break whenever you need one, and you can stop the shoot at any time without explaining why. I'll describe poses and ask before adjusting anything on you or your costume.
• Eat beforehand and bring water, plus a straw if your makeup or mask makes drinking tricky.
• Communication is key! The moment you have any concerns or something doesn't feel right let me know.
• Bring a friend or handler to help with capes, props and wig touch-ups.
• If your costume shoes are hard to stand in, wear comfortable ones between setups. I can frame around them.
• If your costume limits your vision or movement, tell me. I'll guide you and keep us out of foot traffic.
• Check the con's prop and weapon policy before you pack. We'll stick to approved areas if needed.
Your photos
I don't promise a set number of photos - the focus is on quality, not quantity. Most sessions end with an estimated 3–5 finished images, depending on how many setups we fit in, the light and how involved your costume is. I choose the strongest shots and put my editing time into those.
I retouch every final image by hand. That includes color grading to suit your character, skin and makeup cleanup that still looks like you, and removing things like visible seams, tape, flyaways and stray con badges.
If you have a specific touch-up in mind, or there's something you're self-conscious about, just tell me. Requests like that are totally normal, and we'll work together to get exactly what you want.
Your finished images arrive within two weeks of the shoot as high-resolution files for posting or printing.
Booking
Fill out the booking form with the con you're attending and the character you're bringing, and we'll set up your consult. Book early if you can, since there are only so many hours in a con weekend.
